The first two months with this camera was great. Easy menu, good battery life, simple point and shoot options, good in all forms of light. But when I turned on the camera last weekend, I took each image are overexposed, no matter what the setting was on. I listened with a manual - which has a weak section on troubleshooting. Gave no help. I finally got the Sony store and the guy told me that the sensor went bad and I want to mail in your camera for the service.
The recording was time consuming and a pain having to send in. We'll see how quickly they can repair and return the camera to me.
I have not had the extended warranty. I always feel that there is a rip-off, but maybe I'll reconsider.
