I LOVE MY Canon PowerShot SD1200IS MP Digital Camera 10.
My daughter has the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS 8MP. Takes beautiful pictures, but is of limited use for slow, is not a high-end camera …. and not very portable.
This little camera has 10 MB and can be adapted to take pictures at close range. I found it easy to use, very portable and are very satisfied with the quality of images.

My first Sony Cyber-shot camera standalone as I had with built-in Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot, as I have been pleased with the performance of mobile Cyber-shot DSC = I bought the W290 as my "old" Canon 800IS was ready to be changed.
Basically, I'm not happy with my performance, he was ready to slow from shot to shot, face detection does not work all the time, the skin tones tend to be yellowish, auto focus is not 100% correct .
I do not want to recommend the DSC-W290 with others and I have to go back to Canon, as my "old" 800IS performce better than Sony.
